Peter Bale, Vice President & General Manager, Digital, CNN International

Peter is responsible for the global growth of CNN International Digital, including setting the strategic vision, product development and execution. He is a proven industry leader, and has demonstrated the ability to work in both traditional and emerging media, combining his journalism experience with a keen understanding of the complexities in working for a technology giant. Gilles Raymond, CEO and Founder, News Republic

Gilles is the CEO & Founder of News Republic, publisher of news application for smartphones, tablets, and TV. David Schlesinger, Founder and Managing Director, Tripod Advisors

David Schlesinger founded Tripod Advisors / D.A. Schlesinger Limited to provide his global experience and specialized knowledge of journalism, media and emerging markets (particularly China) to companies. Previously, he was the Chairman of Thomson Reuters China until August 2012, and was the Group’s senior representative in the region, after completing more than four years as Editor-in-Chief of Reuters. Paul Steiger, Executive Chairman, ProPublica

Paul E. Steiger is Executive Chairman of ProPublica's board of directors. Steiger was the founding editor-in-chief, CEO and president of ProPublica from 2008 through 2012. As executive chairman, Steiger remains actively involved in strategic issues, development, representing ProPublica in public venues, and consulting with management on business and editorial issues as needed and on a part-time basis. Kate Torney, Director of News, Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Kate Torney was appointed Director of News in April 2009. Before that, Kate was Head of Asia Pacific News. Kate has worked as a radio and television news and current affairs reporter and producer, a bureau chief, an executive producer and news editor.
