Startups For News 2016

Startups for News (SFN) is an international competition that recognises early-stage startups that are bringing innovative solutions to newsroom challenges. It does so by accelerating their development through carefully planned exposure and engagement via our platforms and partners.

With this new programme, we connect high-potential ventures with prospective editors-in-chief, who provide valuable feedback and who could also be prospective clients. It’s a win-win scenario: startups branch out and our audience of editors and media professionals discover new products for their newsrooms.

Partnering with Startups for News is an opportunity to position your brand as a supporter for startups and entrepreneurship, and boost your reputation as a key player in media innovation. You will be the first to know what tools are generating attention in our unique network.

The Global Editors Network has already run four successful Startups for News seasons and the fifth season will be launched in January 2016. In the document below, we highlight the previous winners of Startups for News who are now major players in their respective fields and give you an in-depth look at a sponsorship opportunity.
