This year as an ICFJ Knight Fellow - India, I'm working with a top Indian publisher to reinvent their coverage of critical health and developmental issues. A key part of this role is strategic and editorial support to the publisher.
I'm also the founder of NetaData.in, an independent and non-partisan journalistic service dedicated to Indian politics.
In 2016, I was a Fellow at the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism in New York, where I focused on creating a media business and learning about innovation in story-telling and audience engagement.
As a reporter, I’ve reported on business (CNBC), sports (India Today television, then Headlines Today) and general news (CNN-IBN). I’ve reported on politics, elections and a bit of crime.
But by far my longest stint has been as a news anchor. From 2004 to 2009, I presented an average of three news bulletins a day. This included a talk show called India 360.
