ICFJ Knight Fellow Nasr ul Hadi works with media organizations in India to improve access to quality information and journalism, by developing and expanding the use of new technologies and digital-led best practices.
Hadi has worked in various editorial, creative, product, strategy and training roles across print, broadcast and digital news/media, with marquee brands like The Times of India, Hindustan Times, New Delhi Television, Zee Media, The Associated Press, Columbia University, Jamia's MCRC, Raghav Bahl, among others.
He uses his diverse experience to create editorial workflows, “culture hacking” programs, and drive innovation in general across newsrooms in the region. He has also taught multimedia and interactive storytelling at a few graduate schools, and co-manages the local chapters of Hacks/Hackers, a global community working at the intersection of news and technology.
Hadi studied engineering at Aligarh University and digital media at Columbia University.
