The First Editors Lab in Vienna

On the 29 & 30 October, FJUM -Forum Journalism und Medien- and APA -Austria Presse Agentur- and GEN gathered the best Austrian Newsrooms in Vienna to develop innovative news prototypes. This event was supported by Google.

And the Winner was...

Traces, from Datum Team, an author and user-driven platform to give Austrian nazi victims between 1938 and 1945 a face.

Special mentions were given to UrnenRun (ORF) and Karma Chameleon (Russmedia).
The audience choice was given to CrossNewsReader (HackHackers).
