And the winner is…
The winning project was "Traffic Accidents Area" by the team from Independen.id. Their data journalism prototype compiles online news stories about individual road accidents and visualises them on a map to raise public awareness on road safety and allow journalists to do more comprehensive reporting over time. Team members are: Y. Hesthi Murthi, Iyan Kusherdiansyah and Muhammadi Irham.
In second place was the team from Universitas Multimedia Nusantara for their project "Indonesia Maju". They were the only student team at the hackathon and also won the Public Choice vote.
In third place was the team from Kompas.com for their project "Go Home".
Congratulations to all the teams from Jakarta Editors Lab! Discover all their projects here.
