Each participating team meets and has five minutes to meet each other and present a recent or innovative project released by their newsrooms.

11:30: Let the hacking begin!

14:00: Brainstorming/working session

17:30: Mini pitch session

The teams have one minute to:

  • Describe the problem they are trying to solve
  • Describe their target audience
  • Announce in one sentence what they are going to prototype

9:00: Final hacking sprint

15:45: Project submission deadline

16:00: Pitch session (event open to the public)

The participants have four minutes to pitch their projects
One minute for questions from the jury

17:30: Drinks while the jury is deliberating
