Radio France wins place in Barcelona Hackdays Final

And the winner is...

Radio France on with their mobile app Taxipp that relies on the expertise and responsiveness of taxi drivers who are  actively involved on the radio show “On fait la route ensemble” France Bleu 107.1; it puts out an alert to lanes users in Paris to look out for possible traffic inconveniences. Thus Taxipp invents cabsourcing.

Jacques Rosselin, media engineer and member of the jury, said "It is really a forward thinking app, a true social, mobile and multimedia app integrating both the nature of the Internet and the nature of the radio channel."

“Rue des Archives”, presented by Le Parisien, is a web and mobile application that allows you to rewind the story of a street in Paris, based on multiple databases provided by the city of Paris data. http://ruedesarchives.leparisien.fr

"Housing in Paris, fact-checking the mayoral candidates' promises through data proposed" by Le Monde, is a datavisualization of constructions and renovations, past, present and future in Paris, that will serve as a fact-checking tool of the candidates’ promises and statements during the campaign for the 2014 mayoral elections.
