New Approaches to Investigative Journalism

On 25-27 October 2016, the Global Editors Network (GEN) and the Süddeutsche Zeitung gathers some of the best German, Austrian, Swiss, Romanian and French media innovators in Munich for an Editors Lab focused on developing new investigative journalism prototypes.

The Editors Lab featured a virtual discussion with Edward Snowden about the principles, facts and important questions facing journalists about privacy, surveillance and liberty. Led by Dan Gillmor, the interview took place on 26 October, you can watch it here:
