Prototyping the Future of News in Sydney

On 1-2 March 2018, the Global Editors Network (GEN) and The Walkley Foundation, with the support of Google News Lab, gathered some of the best media innovators from the region in Sydney for a two-day hackathon to develop innovative news prototypes on the theme of "Connecting with local communities". 

The winning team was from Seven West Media with their prototype: Newsroom Hotline
